We really have more in common with Mars than I had originally thought.Professor Steven Benner, a geochemist, has argued that the "seeds" of life probably arrived on Earth in meteorites blasted off Mars by impacts or volcanic eruptions. As evidence, he points to the oxidised mineral form of the element molybdenum, thought to be a catalyst that helped organic molecules develop into the first living structures.

So a scientific study has shown that we may not have had everything here on Earth to create life as we know it and the missing pieces likely came from our sister planet Mars. Now he's not talking about anything like these guys, but pretty cool either way.
