3 years stock of gun magazines sold in just 72 hrs

"If you’re still shopping for last-minute stocking stuffers, obtaining large amounts of ammo might be easier said than done. "

I think the 'big fella' is missing a trick here – legislate against the ammunition, not the guns. If Jonny Redneck doesn't have any bullets, he can't shoot anyone, right?

Sadly, it'll never happen. Nothing is ever going to change, but Obama has to be seen to be trying to do something, as is his rhetoric.

At the end of the day, even if congress got the gun laws changed to something more in line with say, the UK gun laws. So what? What would change? If you want a gun, you can get one.

Anyway, there's no way that any U.S president is going to have any say in the gun laws of the U.S.A – that is not what they are in the White House for.

I'm not sure that is true

in the latest tragedy the young teenager took guns from his mother. she had trained him to shoot the guns in the first place

How many MOTHERS IN THE UK a) have guns available in the house and b) train their children to fire them? Only in America! :oooeerr:

I think this could potentally push the USA into civil war!

Well maybe not, but it could split the country.

Damn right!

Plus when you have people advocating the arming of tutors, or putting armed guards in all the schools, what chance have you got? The entire f**king nation is nuts man!

Talking of the "fiscal cliff", check this out ... http://rt.com/usa/news/government-assis ... eople-961/

It's a story tagged "Government dependents outnumber private sector workers in 11 US states"

Michael Snyder explains that in the states California, New York, Illinois, Ohio, Maine, Kentucky, South Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, New Mexico and Hawaii — all states won by US President Barack Obama during the November general election — the number of Americans dependent on government aid dwarf those going into work to receive a paycheck.
Michael Snyder wrote:America is rapidly becoming a nation of takers... An increasing number of Americans expect the government to take care of them from the cradle to the grave, and they expect the government to dig into the pockets of others in order to pay for it all. There are many people out there that simply cannot take care of themselves. We certainly don't want to see anyone sleeping in the streets or starving to death.
I think it's a bit late for that mate! WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE!, as you yanks say!
