fine but spending millions of $ going there now and broadcasting the same old video of rocky planet vistas does what?
Landing some people on there would be a different story, "terraforming" Mars or the Moon would be extraordinarily difficult but worthy of the attempt and worthy of extended news coverage.
extended news coverage now on landing an unmanned rover to rove around looking at a dead planet? for one thing, it's already been done (LAST YEAR!)
