I dont think it was a lantern .Hence why i posted .It was pretty big ! When ive googled there seems to be a lot of these sightings over Teesside.
Apart from the fact it was moving too fast and there was no wind .
I see the planes plus the police helicopter all the time it was moving same speed if not faster than a plane.It did not burn out , just dissappeared into the clouds in a northern direction.
To be fair you are right there has been a massive increase in sighting in the last 18 months to 2 years, could be Teesside is a hot spot.
